Limited edition specimen from Count Demidoff's very rich collection at the Villa San Donato in Florence of the first four volumes of Les gravures françaises du XVIIIe siècle of 1875-77 dedicated to Lancret, Baudouin, Lavreince and Chardin within Jansenist green morocco binding with Demidoff's supra libros on front plate and his stamps inside. Also in the lotMemories Pertaining to the History of Intaglio by Leopoldo Cicognara of 1831 with the text volume in octavo and the volume of plates in folio, bearing the ex libris of Giulio Bernardi and with editorial brossure applied to new binding, Jaro Springer's Albrecht Dürer Kupferstiche of 1914, Richard Muther's Bücherillustration der Gothik und Frührenaissance (1460-1530) of 1922 and finally Traité du burin in Albert Flocon's Paris edition of 1952.
