Coeval sow's leather binding on wooden board with blindstamped plates and casters, traces of two clasps, green boards). Walter Ashburner stamp. Fine provenance specimen of this first edition edited by Josse Bade printed in Lyon. The beautiful woodcuts were first used in Grüninger's Strasbourg edition of 1502, edited by Sebastian Brant.
