Engraved figured frontispiece, engraved vignette on title page printed in red and black, intaglio dedicator's arms on recto of third paper. Coeval binding in midnight blue morocco with phytomorphic friezes and title on double gusset at spine, unghiatura à dentelles, gilt edges, volumes within slipcases (small defects at headpieces). Ex libris by Chrétien-François de Lamoignon (1735-1789) and Hans Fürstenberg (1890-1982). Specimen with important provenances of this translation edited by Gesner and Reitz, which also contains in uniform binding a fourth volume forming the Index verborum ac phrasium Luciani, sive Lexicon lucianeum edited by Karl Konrad Reitz in the Utrecht edition of 1746.
