Specimen in the issue with false frontispiece and complete removal of the paratext to circumvent the ban imposed by the censorship.The intervention of the censorship not only suspended the publication, but also prohibited the distribution of what had already been printed.Starita then had the first notebook, including the Eyelet, Frontispiece, Note and Index, detached and replaced with the false frontispiece.
