Coeval vellum binding with manuscript title at spine, traces of two endpapers (lack at spine). Rare first edition, printed in Orvieto, "in which mainly is discussed the manners, & qualities of horses, in what manner they should be disciplined, & preserved, & anco to improve the breeds." The treatise was compiled by the gentleman from Troy Ottaviano Siliceo, and given to print posthumously by his grandson, Giovanni Battista Siliceo.
