In 2nd (305 x 205 mm);[8], 143, [3] pages.3 figures of the horse by Hans Sebald Beham taken from his "Proporcion der Ross" of 1528, numerous figures dimorsi and bridles (defects and restorations to inner margin, compound specimen?) Modern vellum binding. Second 17th-century edition following Wechel's 1631 edition. An early version was published about 1489 entitled "Liber Marescalciae equorum." The work by Rusio, who was a veterinarian at the court of Napoleon Orsini, was used as an essential source for the veterinary treatise in CatalanLlibre de la menescaliadiManuel Díez of Calatayud, who presented it toAlfonso V the Magnanimous, King of Naples.
