Typographical mark to title page (small woodworm holes to white margin of last few papers.) Coeval vellum binding with traces of a manuscript title to smooth spine. Reprinted work and "divided into ten books: in which, in addition to the orders belonging to chivalry, are described all the particulars, which are necessary in rearing, guarding, handling, & caring for horses; accommodating therein essempi drawn from all ancient, and modern historie; with industry, & giudicio dignissimo d'essere avvertito da ogni cavaliere." Compared to the first, it contains a second part concerning "of the infirmities, which occur to the horse, & ox, with the remedies of them."
