Also in the lot is the text "coll'aggiunta del commentario alla detta opera di M. de Voltaire" in Mainardi's Milan edition of 1801 and a copy with barbs of the first complete edition of Cesare Beccaria's Ricerche intorno alla natura dello stile in the 1822 publication of Classici Italiani.
