Oribasius (320-400) was the physician of Emperor Julian the Apostate. He was the propagator of GALIAN's contributions to medicine. The Synopsis for Eustathius is an abridgement of his main work, Collectiones medicae (published in 70 volumes), dedicated to his son Eustathius and addressed to those who must travel.
