Rear vellum binding, within slipcase. Partially postillated specimen of this early Bladian edition. This is one of the oldest and most celebrated guides to the antiquities of Rome divided into seven books. The work was very successful and was edited several times. Lot sold in 2018 at Sotheby's, The Sergio Rossetti Library.
