Fresh copy of the first 14 volumes of the first edition The Botanical Cabinet consisting of colored delineations of plants, from all countries... by Conrad Loddiges & Sonsnin the London edition by John & Arthur Arch, Cornhill, 1818-1828 with 1400 engraved plates and in beautiful hand-coloring edited by Georges Curtis and some of which are folded (lacking plate 49, present is uncolored plate 684 bis, slight halo to lower corner in volume XI) within coeval blond calf binding with threading to plates, gilt friezes and title on double gusset to spine, gilt lips and cuts. Also in the lot 8 tomes in 4 volumes of The Botanical Magazine; or, Flower-Garden displayed by Curtis, published from 1787-94 with numerous hand-colored plates, Curtis's Botanical Magazine of 1848, and tomes 9 and 10 in 1 volume of The Botanical Magazine in the 1801 edition.
