[Astrology]. Manilius, Marcus. Marcii Manilii Astronomicon ad Caesarem Augustum noviter ac diligentissime emendatum. Rome, Giacomo Mazzocchi, 1510. In 4° (204 x 145 mm);[84] papers. (Restauricon loss of text to first four papers, provenance removed from title page, slight halo, short at head). Coeval vellum binding with greaseproofing, traces of two endpapers. Exemplar with a few postscripts from this first edition printed in the sixteenth century, notably rare, as already indicated byHouzeau & Lancaster and Schweiger. The title agrees only with the first book, which deals with cosmology and cosmogony; the other four that make up the work are astrological in character.
