Coeval bindings in bazzana with friezes and title in gilt on spine (peeling). Fine copy with fresh plates of one of the most spectacular illustrated books of the eighteenth century, entirely devoted to Baroque architecture in and around Rome. Also in the lot is another copy of the Third Book of the 'novo teatro with the plates pasted on white paper. (2)
