Binding of 17th century in dark brown leather with supra libros nobiliare and monogram in corners, gilt friezes on spine, red boards (small defects). French stamp, second stamp removed. First illustrated edition of Boethius' work with beautiful first large view depicting Rome. Important postcuncunabulum edited by Sebastian Brant with one of his poems of occasion on the seventh paper.
