BLIN" on lower right tile 40 x 99 x 50 cm Condition report available on request: [email protected] NOTICE Born in France in 1920, Jacques Blin turned away from his initial training in aeronautics to devote himself to the art of ceramics. From the start of his career in 1954, he exhibited at the Salon des Céramistes et des Métiers d'Art. As a ceramist, he became President of the Chambre syndicale des Céramistes et Ateliers d'Art de France. In addition to his vases, Jacques Blin has produced a number of glazed tiles engraved with reserve motifs, which he places on coffee table tops whose solid wood base ensures stability and contrast.
