After completing his doctorate, he held various educational positions in Kumasi, including that of Dean of the School of Fine Arts. A well-known artist who received the Alumni Award from the African-American Institute in New York, his works are exhibited in various institutions and public places, including UNESCO headquarters in Paris and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
