Splendid period binding signed "Pasque ? 7, rue de la paix" in full navy-blue morocco, 5-ribbed spine, gilt roulettes on tail and head, gilt fillets on edges, same morocco border with double gilt fillets on counterpanes and marbled paper endpapers, fully gilt edges; in matching bordered slipcase, tail and head head headbands in the colors of the French flag BLEU-BLANC-ROUGE, uncommon enough to be highlighted.
