Description

[OCCULTISM] Francis ROLT-WHEELER - Brahm's Day Published by Apostrophe, Villa Adonais, Nice, 1947 - Very fine set of three complete volumes of this extremely rare work on the occult and esoteric sciences. First edition only. This is the total of 60 typescript lessons distributed exclusively to members of the group run by Francis Rolt-Wheeler in Nice in the 30s and 50s. This is one of the last books written by British occultist and astrologer Francis Rolt-Wheeler (1876-1960), who left an important body of work, but always reserved for a circle of initiates. All the author's publications are particularly sought-after, as they are printed in very small numbers and are of great interest in terms of content. Our copy is numbered on volumes 1 and 3, and signed in the author's hand. Bound in red half-percaline (first two volumes) and burgundy (last volume), the whole is coherent and uniform. Titles and author in gilt lettering on spines, with gilt fillets. All in excellent condition, interiors perfect, minor rubbing to bindings, only slightly visible. The breakdown is as follows: Volume 1: Cosmic Origins Volume 2: The Soul of the World Volume 3: Cycles of Return In-4, unnumbered pages (volume 1 XX lessons, volume 2 XX lessons, volume 3 XX lessons), each page printed on one side only.
