Superb publication by the Indo-Chinese railway construction company, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Yunnan Railway linking Laokay (Tonkin, today in Vietnam) to Yunnansen (today Kunming), extending the line linking Haïphong, Hanoi and Laokay. The text volume is illustrated with numerous photographic reproductions, diagrams and a beautiful panorama printed on embossed paper, in full color. The plate volume comprises 62 plates, including 7bis with diagrams, plans and maps. Very complete. Bound in publisher's full percalines, with rubbing, somewhat fragile hinges and slightly off-set signatures, otherwise a fine, well-preserved copy. Original illustrated covers are present.
