The book also includes an architectural note on the grand theater in Bordeaux, based on authentic documents. Complete with 13 folding plates, lithographed by Langlumé, each with a detailed description. A few small tears, not serious, in some plates, with no loss, and a few light brown spots or marks. Beautiful period binding in half-chagrin and percaline, spine with 4 gilt ribbons and dotted lines, lightly rubbed. Front cover preserved. Now almost impossible to find, this is a first-rate document on the architect's work. In-8, 135pp + plates.
