[CONFRERIE CARNAVALESQUE] Responce à l'Abbe des Conars de Rouen On les vend en la rue Sainct Jacques by Jehan Morin, 1537 [Printed by Henry Boissel in Rouen 1867] - Very rare facsimile of a work that is virtually impossible to find. As the publisher indicates in-fine before the "achevé d'imprimer", the work is one of the pieces relating to the debate between Marot, Sagon and La Hueterie. The booklet went through several editions in 1537, including the round-letter edition on which this facsimile is based, as well as reprints in 1854 and 1857. Paperback in marbled paper covers, printed in a small number, not commercially available, without proof on wove paper. In very good condition, free of foxing. The title page features a curious and amusing vignette, and the last page bears the seal of the Abbé des Conards. In-8, (1) 8pp (1).
