The first volume is illustrated with a fine engraved title-frontispiece, two large fold-out plates including a map of Upper and Lower Alsace, and two engraved portrait plates. Two fold-out plans of the city of Strasbourg in the second volume. Fine period bindings in full calf, 6-rib spine, red morocco title-pieces, richly decorated caissons, good overall condition, rubbing and minor snags but not serious. Fresh interior.
