Grand autel votif. Openwork pediment adorned with leaves and flowers and extended by two mythical animals with lion heads and reptile bodies. It opens onto two doors carved with foliage and enhanced with mirrors. Fluted uprights and wide molded stepped base. Cambered legs. Exotic wood. Sinhalese Kingdom of Kandy (1469-1815). Eastern Sri Lanka (Ceyhan). Late 18th / early 19th century. Dimensions : 223 x 165 x 115 cm.
