Tuscan manufacture of the 17th century Majolica mug with ventricose body 18x16.5 cm; base diameter 7 cm Disc-shaped foot with rounded margins, tall cylindrical neck with thinned, protruding rim. Pouring spout. Ribbed loop with central ribbing. At front in a fielded shield three stylized flowers and at bottom a stylized sun. Around frame on either side two large cartouche bulbs with central pistils and large leaves. On the neck sequence of flames (so-called serpentine) alternating with "mounds" Refinishing to the beak and front. Breaks and felting
