Richard Ceramic Company, last quarter of the 20th century. Service of five saucers with flower and butterfly decoration by the Richard Ceramic Company. diameter 21.4 cm diameter 21.4 cm Founded by Giulio Richard on February 23, 1873 with headquarters in Milan, the manufactory has factories in Palosco, Sovere, and San Cristoforo. It merged with Ginori to form the well-known maison on October 11, 1896. The series of five plates was named "Linnaeus" (see mark on back) to pay homage to Swedish physician, botanist and naturalist Carl Nilsson Linnaeus
