MONTEGRAPPA "QUEEN OF HEARTS" FOUNTAIN PEN, 1999. Body in green marbled resin and 925 mls silver. Limited edition. Exemplary 0424/2000. Bicolor gold nib 18 kts. EF tip. Screw cap. Piston loading. No box. Unused. Good state of preservation. Measurements: 14.5 cm. length. Montegrappa Queen of Hearts limited edition fountain pen in sterling silver and green resin. Octagonal barrel with playing cards motif. In 1912 Montegrappa produces writing instruments on the banks of the Brenta River. Originally known under the name of Elmo, it was nurtured by the talent of a group of local artists who worked to produce objects crafted with the utmost meticulousness, style and mastery, always aiming for excellence. In 1930, in the midst of a golden period for Italian fashion, the Montegrappa firm was definitively born, standing out for the elegance of its products. The house found a wide public to sell its designs, always with a simple but elegant style, customized with a varied choice of colors and materials. In 2001, Montegrappa was acquired by the Richemont Group, one of the world leaders in the luxury goods sector. In the period that followed, 2001/2005, the brand initially operated under the signature of Cartier, later to be controlled by Montblanc. In 2019 The Aquila family acquired Montegrappa. No box.
