Zwischen 1909 und 1919 entstanden unter ihm 22 Luftschiffe. - Photos jeweils mit kl. Beschädigung an einem oberen Eck, sonst insg. gut erhalten. Silver gelatin prints. - Showing the airship with a gathering of people in a field, in the sky and shots of the gondola. - The Parseval airships were developed by the German designer August von Parseval (1861-1942). Between 1909 and 1919 he built 22 airships. - Photos each with small damage at one upper corner, otherwise generally well preserved.

Mit vereinzeltem, feinem Craquelé. Mit oberflächlichen Anschmutzungen. Unter UV keine Retuschen erkennbar. Insgesamt gut. Stimmungsvolle Szene mit Mensch und Pferd vor winterlicher Landschaft. Fritz van der Vennes' Oeuvre zeichnet sich durch großes Interesse an Pferden aus, die er malerisch vor verschiedensten Kulissen inzensierte. Stilistisch bewegte sich der Künstler sicher im Deutschen Impressionismus, die Anklänge des Naturalismus scheinen noch durch, das Kolorit ist insgesamt etwas gedämpfter, was die Szene der Kutschfahrt auflockert. Magnificiently framed in a gold-coloured stucco frame with acanthus decor of the period. - Along the edges with slight colour abrasion and isolated losses of colour. Slightly yellowed there. With occasional fine craquelure. With superficial soiling. No visible retouches under UV light. All in all good. Atmospheric scene with man and horse in front of a wintry landscape. - Fritz van der Venne's oeuvre is characterised by his great interest in horses which he painted against a wide variety of backgrpunds. Stylistically the artist was certainly part of German Impressionism, echoes of Naturalism are visible though, colours are rather subdued overall and lightens the scene of the carriage ride up.
