Zank undn Gericke widmeten sich vorrangig Berliner Motiven und Menschen - es waren Alltagsbeobachtungen, Portraits und Landschaftsszenen, die die Künstler festhielten und so ein Kaleidoskop Berlins und seiner Umgebung schufen. Stilistisch arbeiteten die beiden Künstler deart harmonisch, dass eine regelrechte Symbiose entstand. Oil on canvas. Signed by both artists. Framed. - Partially fine, age-related craquelure. Atmospheric winter landscape in late Impressionist style. - Zank and Gericke were a Berlin artist duo from the north-west of Berlin who met while studying art and painted together ever since. Zank and Gericke primarily focussed on Berlin motifs and people - the artists captured everyday observations, portraits and landscape scenes thus creating a kaleidoscope of Berlin and its surroundings.
