Andreas Möller (1684-1762), Portrait of Caroline Henriette Kircheisen. A portrait typical of Möller's style, depicting Caroline Henriette Kircheisen (b. 1747) as a girl. She was the daughter of Karl David Kircheisen (stamped 1770), Privy Councillor of War, Chief of Police and President of the Magistrate in Berlin. There is evidence that Möller was active as a painter in Germany from 1712, first in Greifswald, Berlin and until 1720 in Kassel. Oil/canvas, inscribed by the artist on the reverse, titled, location Berlin and dated 1757, copy with expert opinion by Prof. Dr. Helmut Börsch-Supan, Berlin, craquelure, retouched, 44 x 35 cm, framed 53 x 45 cm
