Throughout his career as a painter, Eugène Boudin repeatedly depicted countryside landscapes, but above all numerous harbors, ships and beaches on various French and European coasts. Boudin's work particularly celebrates the coastal towns of Brittany and Normandy. Among his favorite places, the tip of Finistère inspired Village breton of 1856 and Environ de Faou 1870-1873, which we are presenting for sale.
