Powder flask, dated 1620, horn body carved and polished all over. Scenic depiction of an executioner with sword and severed head or person with Janus head, in his hands a snake or a mirror. Below 2 lions and a tree. Greyhounds chasing prey to the side. Closing bones, sculpturally carved in the shape of a dragon/sea serpent. Chute ending as a fish head, incised "1620". bumped L. 22 cm
