A German small-sword for officers, circa 1760 Straight blade with short fullers, inscribed "Antonio Pichinio". Asymmetrical brass guard plate in relief, quillons, knucklebow and pommel decorated en suite, grip with loosened winding of strong copper wire. Blade spotted, hilt with signs of age and use, the fixing screw of the knucklebow missing. Length 88 cm. Condition: III

A small-sword for Prussian civil servants, circa 1900 Straight single-edged blade, the stamped mark "J. Robrecht Hoflieferant Berlin" on the obverse side, half of both sides richly etched with symmetrical tendrils and bands. Heavy, multi-piece non-ferrous metal knucklebow hilt (knucklebow and guard plate loose) with eagle's head pommel, the Prussian eagle beneath a royal crown on the guard plate, mother-of-pearl grip scales. Signs of use and age. Length 97 cm. Very representative. Condition: II

A Spanish military blunderbuss, dated 1838 round barrel, length 47.5 cm, with some pitting. Bell-shaped muzzle, diameter 41 mm. Spanish military-style flintlock, brass flashpan, corroded surface with barely legible maker's mark under crown and year "1838". Various acceptance marks "M/Crown" on small parts. Trigger guard and side plate of brass, other furniture of iron. Reworked walnut stock with some light cracks. Hinged iron ramrod. Mechanically sound. Rifle not disassembled. Length circa 85 cm. Condition: III

AN ANTIQUE MAHOGANY PISTOL CASE CARCASS FOR A PAIR OF JOHN MANTON & SON PISTOLS, circa 1835, probably for percussion belt-pistols, the external measurements 14 1/2in. x 8 1/2in. x 3in., the tray and lid lined in green baize (some mothing, compartments removed) and retaining a small parchment trade label, hook and lock closure (no key).
