Vase, China, first half of the 20th century. Cloisonne enamelled copper. Measurements: 64.5 x 32 cm (diameter). Vase with a flat circular foot, flattened ovoid belly, high neck, and an exvasated mouth. It is characterised by its profuse ornamentation: flowers, birds with beautiful plumage and raised vegetal forms. The decoration is modelled on cloisonné enamels, a technique that consists of depositing the vitreous paste of the enamel in compartments formed by metal sheets that, in relief, form the silhouette of the design.
