He stands next to a marble monument crowned by portraits of Louis XVI, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington (misspelled: Waginston). "L'Amérique et les mers ô Louis! Vous reconnaissance pour leur libérateur" written on the base and crowned by a globe with lilies and the Gallic cock, the symbol of France. - Some staining and creasing in the margin. Overall well preserved in delicate coloring. France - America - Hand-colored copper engraving by L.
