Pierre-Henry FAVIER (1809-c.1870), a pair of wine and water cruets, silver. France, 950/1000. 501g. One cruet with an embossed image of grape vines and grapes, Wine. The other cruet has an embossed image of aquatic plants, (Cattails), for water. The cruets and tray with maker's mark for Favier à Paris. Further with a French Minerva mark, 1st grade silver, 950/1000. On the underside of the platter engraved SLB. A similar pair of cruets by the same maker can be found in Amiens, in the collection of the cathedral:https://tresor-cathedrale-amiens.culture.gouv.fr/fr/page/chapelle-favier Total gross weight: 501g.
