Part of Marshal Dode de la Brunerie's large Maréchal de France uniform. Our fragment includes the right breastplate and the right basque. In national blue cloth, embroidered with friezes of oak leaves and canetille, silver thread and sequins. Basque adorned with two embroidered French marshal baton motifs in blue velvet embroidered with stars. Quilted lining at front. Decorated with twelve gilded buttons in the style of the Marshals of France. Height : 110 cm. Width : 44 cm. Monarchie de Juillet - IIe République period (circa 1847-1851) Provenance : -Marshal Guillaume Dode de la Brunerie, -Then descendants.
