Series of six molded and carved walnut chairs, the slightly arched, openwork backs crowned with shells and centered with a gilded scene of a woman and an angel, the seats trapezoidal, the straight belts punctuated with connecting dice. The ensemble rests on four tapered, fluted and filleted legs, surmounted by acanthus leaves. Directoire period, late 18th century. 93 x 47 x 55 cm. (minor accidents and missing, shells added).
