Description
Rectangular desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer, the top opening with three drawers and covered with white marble edged with an openwork brass gallery, the central part with a retractable cylinder revealing a sliding writing tablet, a niche and six small drawers, the belt containing two drawers. The whole rests on four tapered legs terminating in bronze sabots. Brass ornamentation such as underlining moldings, lock escutcheons, pull and opening handles. Louis XVI period. 114 x 89 x 50 cm. (cracks to the cylinder and slight accident).
