Patinated bronze clock featuring Chronos holding a scythe in his right hand and carrying under his arm the circular guilloché gilt metal dial, signed VACHER 13 Rue de Grammont et LESIEUR Horloger à Paris, the hours in Roman numerals. The rectangular salmon marble base rests on four winged claw feet. With stamp. Mid-nineteenth century. 52.5 x 41.5 x 21 cm. (Slight chips to marble, a priori mounted upside down and mechanism to be reassembled).
