Gaston PARISON (1889-1959): A student of Cormon at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, he was a painter, draftsman and engraver. He became a member of the Salon des Artistes Français. He is known for his still lifes and orientalist scenes. He traveled to Canada, Senegal, the Maghreb and Turkey. In 1933, he was awarded the Prix de Madagascar.
