A flagship piece of Picardy furniture, the Vignacourt Traite Picarde is made of molded cherry wood, finely carved with branches of flowering rosehips. The carved rosehips are typical of regional furniture in Picardy. This enfilade is made in one go, hence its name. It comprises two molded and carved double-leaf sideboards, separated by a chest of drawers opening with five molded drawers carved with flowering branches. One-piece wood top with crenellated edge. Traverse curved to match the piece of furniture it supports. Cambered legs. Round brass knobs. Sober brass fittings. Late 18th, early 19th century. Traites Picardes are unique in that they all differ according to the walls and homes for which they are intended. Height 98 cm. Length : 255 cm. Depth : 51 cm.
