ARBUCKLE ROSCOE ´FATTY´: (1887-1933) American silent film comedy actor and film director, controversially accused of the rape and manslaughter of actress Virginia Rappe (and later acquitted of the charge following three trials). A rare vintage signed sepia 8 x 10 photograph of the plump actor in a smiling head and shoulders pose. Photograph by Witzel of Los Angeles. Signed ( ´Yours truly, Roscoe C.
