ANGELI PIER: (1932-1971) Italian actress, the twin sister of Marisa Pavan. A scarce vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of the young, pretty actress in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Eufemia Calderon from the American musical romance film Sombrero (1953). Signed by Angeli in blue ink across a light area of the image. Signed photographs of Angeli are scarce as a result of her tragically early death at the age of 39 from a barbiturate overdose. VG
