KENDALL KAY: (1927-1959) English actress. A scarce vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Kendall in a head and shoulders pose resting her chin on one hand, the original British Lion Film Corporation publicity portrait issued at the time of Kendall´s appearance as Monica Hathaway in the British comedy film The Constant Husband (1955). Signed by Kendall in bold blue fountain pen ink to a largely lighter area of the image, with the inscription across a darker area. Signed photographs of Kendall are scarce as a result of her untimely death at the young age of 32. Some very slight, extremely minor surface and corner creasing, VG It was during the filming of The Constant Husband that Kendall began a romantic relationship with her co-star, Rex Harrison, and the two were married in 1957. Harrison cared for his wife, who had been diagnosed with myeloid leukaemia, until her death in 1959.
