NEWTON ROBERT: (1905-1956) English actor, remembered for his portrayal of Long John Silver in Treasure Island (1950). A scarce vintage signed postcard photograph of Newton in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Lukey from Carol Reed's British film noir Odd Man Out (1947). Signed by Newton in dark fountain pen ink with his name alone to the lower white border. Some very light, extremely minor age wear, VG
