ATES ROSCOE: (1895-1962) American actor and entertainer who starred in Western films and also appeared in Gone with the Wind (1939) as a convalescing Confederate soldier. Vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Ates standing in a half-length pose in costume as the barber Peter Higgins, holding a pair of scissors and comb in his hands, from the American comedy film Politics (1931).
