KNOWLES PATRIC: (1911-1995) English actor, remembered for his film roles alongside Errol Flynn and for his portrayal of Will Scarlet in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938). Vintage signed and inscribed 6 x 8.5 photograph of the actor in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by the Tatler Studio of London and bearing their credit stamp to the verso. Signed by Knowles in blue fountain pen ink to the base of the image and dated 1st January 1936 in his hand. A few minor traces of former mounting to each of the corners of the verso, VG
