WASHINGTON DENZEL: (1954- ) American actor, Academy Award winner. Signed 10 x 8 photograph by Washington, the image depicting the actor standing in a three-quarter length pose, testifying in court, in costume as Steve Biko in a scene from the 1987 epic apartheid drama film directed by Richard Attenborough Cry Freedom set in late-1970s South-Africa. For his performance in this film Washington received a Best Suppoting Actor Oscar nomination. Signed in bold blue fountain pen ink to the image. VG
