BARRYMORE JOHN: (1882-1942) American actor. A good vintage signed and inscribed sepia 8 x 10 photograph of Barrymore in a head and shoulders pose displaying his famous profile. Photograph by Melbourne Spurr of Hollywood and bearing his blindstamp to the lower left corner. Signed in fountain pen ink to a light area at the base of the image and dated 1933 in his hand. Some light silvering to the edges of the image, one small tear to the left edge (repaired to the verso) and with a couple of minor traces of former mounting to the upper edge of the verso. About VG
