Angelic chasuble, attributed to the House of Henry in Lyon, 19th century, after 1891, damask gold cloth with red background, with the Holy Trinity in the midst of angels and on the back the Virgin Mary in the midst of angels. An identical chasuble was first worn by Cardinal Foulon, Archbishop of Lyon, on Easter Day 1891, is preserved in Lyon, at the Primatiale Saint-Jean-Baptiste, exhibited in Lyon in 1894; Lyon at the Exposition des Arts Eucharistiques in 1917; Chicago in 1975 Bernard Berthod, Paramentica, pp. 158 & 159, fig.63 - p.157: "An important house in existence since the middle of the 18th century, it reached its apogee during the administration of J.A. Henry (1867-1907), who for many years taught a course in art embroidery at the La Martinière vocational school. The company stands out for the great importance it gives to the production of liturgical ornaments "... Exposition de Rome en 1870.
